GLSEN Day of Silence

 

Just a reminder for all participants. The GLSEN Day of Silence (DOS) is tomorrow. Please support echo the silence that many people have to have because no one listens. Just remember we all have a voice but tomorrow we won't because we will be silently voicing our disdain for the treatment of our LGBT peers. I personally will be painting my nails as a rainbow and have "I Support" spelled out on each nail. And guys share your support.

Happy Valentines Day

 

Happy Valentines day(sorry it was so late). But as of Valentines of 2014 I came to realize that the LGBT community doesn't seem to get a lot of appreciation on the most commercialized holiday of the year. However I believe that we will be able to change that and plus we all have the special someone in our lives so lets not be ashamed of it. Let's show everyone that we can all show off that someone in our lives. And if you don't have a significant other don't worry you'll find them eventually. :)

Happy New Year LGBT people. So to kick off 2014 I would like to say that this will be the year that LGBTs and advocates can finally say "You know what, we are here we don't need to be fixed lay off". And for those of you who are LGBT but have not come out and want to don't worry I know it's hard and you'll get through it. Pride Selfie Challenge

My fellow supporters and LGBTs,

So today I was thinking about how we all take selfies so why not take one that shows your pride for who you are. So I challenge you to take a selfie that shows that you are in the LGBT community or that you support. Don't let what everyone else thinks stop. Let your colors show they're incredibly beautiful. If you feel uncomfortable I understand so don't worry. Best of luck. Side not I too will not be afraid. And hey feel free to post those selfies :).
